Salvage, Recovery & Demolition

R7M have over the years undertaken many operations involving the recovery of lost marine plant and equipment including sunken vessels and have considerable expertise in this field. 
We are able to plan and resource operations at short notice which includes the transportation and site mobilisation of our containerised diving systems and compression chambers.

Diving systems used by R7M are fully compliant to operate at full air range and as such are able to safely support all diving personnel, particularly for multiple diver operations.

We have a considerable subcontractor and supplier network and are in a position to readily mobilise suitable vessels and specialist plant to undertake recovery operations both in terms of heavy lift barges and cranes to smaller support craft.

Demolition and removal of marine structures is a regular activity and we undertake numerous contracts throughout the UK each year.  With our underwater capability we are able to undertake demolition using explosives, cardox, ultra-thermic cutting, diamond wire sawing and UHP hydro-demolition techniques.  A few examples of completed contracts include jetties, groynes cofferdams, slipways and storm/effluent outfall pipelines.
