Red7Marine is launching another addition to its expanding marine fleet, the Eurojack 3620 which will be operational in October 2018. The new purpose-built barge will be able to hold a deck load of up to 550 tonnes making it ideal for the larger civil engineering projects.

As one of the founding members of IJUBOA, Red7Marine is the Marine Partner of Choice with a proven track record in both the offshore energy and marine civil engineering sectors. The values led organisation is committed to providing safe marine access solutions throughout the industry and by raising standards with its highly trained workforce.

The Eurojack 3620 has been designed to operate in the near-shore environment, working on shore end cable landing projects and major civil engineering projects. The monohull jack up barge has deck dimensions of 36.5 x 20 metres and has a leg length of 48 metres which will allow the barge to work in deeper water depths or with larger crane capabilities. The Eurojack 3620 is currently under construction by Neptune Marine and will join the varied range of barges working in the Red7Marine fleet including other monohull barges such as the Eurojack 3923, launched last year.

With its fleet of specialist vessels and long history of operating in the marine industry, Red7Marine can offer versatile, innovative access solutions for all overwater projects supported by its in-house engineering department. The company has also continued its expansion in the renewables industry having been involved with several recent subsea cabling projects on Offshore Windfarms including export cable installation and repairs

Nick Offord CEO of Red7Marine comments “Having completed our busiest year yet, Red7Marine is delighted to prepare for the launch of our next purpose-built jack up barge. We are committed to keeping up with the increasing client led demand in the renewables and marine civil engineering sectors and are very excited to see the barge at work in the near future.”
